The
original drive components are removed leaving just the main input shafts for each of the three axes - jaw, film and infeed.
The top image shows a typical machine after everything that is no
longer required has been removed. Clearly there is plenty of room, even
in more confined machines. The lower image shows the same machine in
its original state prior to upgrade showing the large amount of noisy, wear prone clutter that is now redundant.
