The
supplied separate encoder
requires mounting such that it rotates exactly one turn per cycle of
the machine. Most flow-wrap machines have various shafts and sprockets
which can be coupled to the encoder. The lower image shows a simple
mounting utilizing the supplied mounting plate and
pulleys. The upper image shows our hollow shaft version of the encoder
mounted directly onto the main motor that drives the rest of the machine - a
particularly good solution if the machine is being fully refurbished.
